Honey BBQ Glazed Salmon
Honey BBQ Glazed Salmon combines a sweet, smoky glaze with the natural richness of salmon fillets, cooking up fast in a skillet or under the broiler. The honey caramelizes as it cooks, giving the fish a lightly sticky, golden finish. Dinner is on the table in well under 30 minutes.

Glaze Ingredients
- ½ cup honey preferably wildflower honey
- ¼ cup BBQ sauce your preferred brand
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce low sodium
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger grated
- 1 teaspoon garlic finely minced
Salmon
- 4 fillets salmon skin-on, each about 6 oz
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix the honey, BBQ sauce, soy sauce, fresh ginger, and minced garlic together to create the glaze.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Brush them with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the salmon, skin-side down, and sear for 2-3 minutes until the skin is crispy.
- Transfer the salmon to the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down. Brush generously with the honey BBQ glaze.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and the glaze is bubbly.
- Serve immediately, drizzled with any remaining glaze.
Notes
For added depth to your glaze, consider incorporating a dash of liquid smoke.
