The Classic Cobb Salad layers chopped romaine, hard-boiled eggs, bacon, grilled chicken, avocado, tomato, and blue cheese into a hearty, protein-packed meal. A tangy vinaigrette or creamy dressing brings the rows of toppings together. It works equally well as a filling lunch or a no-cook dinner.

Instructions
Start by cooking the bacon in a frying pan over medium heat until crispy. Drain on paper towels and crumble.
Meanwhile, dice the cooked chicken breasts and set aside.
On a large cutting board, chop the salad greens, then add them to a large mixing bowl.
Add the diced chicken, crumbled bacon, chopped hard-boiled eggs, halved cherry tomatoes, diced avocado, and crumbled Roquefort cheese over the top in neat rows for a classic presentation.
For the dressing, in a small bowl or jar, whisk together the red wine vinegar, olive oil, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper until emulsified.
Drizzle the dressing over the salad just before serving and toss gently to mix.

Jen’s Tips
To enhance the flavor, consider grilling the chicken for a smoky taste.
For a healthier twist, turkey bacon can be used as a substitute.
If Roquefort is too strong for your palate, crumbled blue cheese is a suitable alternative.
